I went here not knowing what to expect, but I was very pleasantly surprised and pleased. Let me start with the service. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu, and attentive to our party is six. Now on to the "meat and potatoes" of the review. Appetizers - The meat pies were absolutely delicious; the popcorn shrimp were....... popcorn shrimp; we got 3x of each of the 4 "Oysters our way," and they were all great. We also shared a dozen few oysters on the half shell. All of the oysters were very fresh and tasted great, but I was a little disappointed with the shucking. Out of the 2 dozen that we got, 6 of them had big chunks of shell in them, and 4 didn't have the abductor muscles cut. Main course - I had the Duck & Andouille Sausage Gumbo, and it was fantastic. Around the table... 2 had the gumbo flights and loved them. One had the snow crab legs, she loved them.(so did I ) The birthday girl finally got the all you can eat crawfish that she had been craving, and they were fantastic. The last one had the broiled red snapper covered with Couvillion Sauce. She loved it.(once again, so did. LOL) OVERALL - 9/10. The on my thing that killed the 10/10 was the haphazardly shucking of the oysters. Will be a repeat customer.

We've driven by a hundred times - and now we wish we would have stopped in sooner. The food was absolutely delicious. I especially enjoy my blackened red fish and hand cut fries. The beignets were authentic and awesome!

I had naked, blackened catfish on dirty rice with a side of red beans and rice. The charbroiled oysters were delicious. Great service.

I just want to send a huge shout out to the staff members for always taking good care of my grandparents. They can sometimes be a little difficult considering their needs and requests. I appreciate that the staff never hesitates to take care of them and they do it with grace. I really love that when we walk in the staff greets my grandparents by name and are ready to seat them. I love that the team takes care of my grandparents and my grandparents always speak so highly of the staff and their service. We always enjoy their food, atmosphere and how clean the restaurant is. Thank you for all that you do. You’re all so awesome. We feel like family when we walk into Poches. I love that.

We had a wonderful evening with friends. The char grilled oysters were a fantastic starter. Our table tried the sampler as well as the gumbo flight the catfish and the redfish. All the dishes were fantastic. Our server Aaron was very attentive and understanding while we waited on our friends to join us The bread pudding was really tasty and sharable.

Atmosphere was really good. The food was really delicious. The oysters on the half shell they were a little bit on the small side. I would’ve hoped they would’ve been bigger but still not bad. The bread pudding was off the chart. I would definitely recommend if you go in there, saving room or eating it first then eat your meal. I would definitely go back to this place.

Quick and friendly service. Stuffed shrimp, catfish poboy, chicken and sausage gumbo, boudain balls, and hush puppies were on our menu. All very tasty, not over spicy. Recommended!
